The worship the rich bullshit is exactly why I reject modern Capitalism. Likewise, I reject modern Socialism for not wanting to live in the real economic realities that people live in. And unlike both, I think both diehard Capitalists and Socialists, I actually think both economic philosophies have some viable ideas in them and that you can have a democratic society that includes elements of both but then again I’m not a self righteous douche. Economic purity is stupid.

Even Adam Smith pointed out that markets are supposed to benefit everyone: producers and consumers, employers and employees, buyers and sellers.

And in order to do that, markets have to be regulated to some degree.
