re: #128 Love-Child of Cassandra and Sisyphus
Because of the extensive spring precipitation in the upper Missouri/Mississippi river system, the lower Mississippi is currently quite high… meaning torrential rains in Louisiana can quickly become a flood problem.
So this may be the dominant news story by next weekend.
The entire river system is maxing out the flood control systems in place, and if there’s a major storm over the Lower Mississippi, that means that the water upstream has no where to go and will start flooding upstream and downstream.
