It’s straight up mob tactics where the mob bosses would send in guys who glower at the witness as intimidation tactics. There’s no reason for him to be there, and everyone knows it. The only reason he went in was to try and intimidate the witness into silence.

This is just more of the same obstructionism and complicity by GOPers with Trumpworld, which is a crime syndicate populated by stupid but canny con artists who know that their marks are even dumber than they are.

SRSLY: What do they need Matt Gaetz there for? It’s not as if the WH isn’t going to know what went on in the meeting anyway: either via one of the GOPers on the Committee(s), or one of their flunkies; probably by the time the adjourning gavel comes down, if not sooner.
