Have to agree. Putin wants Russia to be a dominant nation state in Europe again. I’m definitely interested in seeing what Biden plans to do in Europe.

He won’t have to do much to improve US standing: just showing up to a NATO summit and not insulting anybody will probably be a huge boost by itself.

I’m guessing, though, that the hardcore “nationalist” wingers won’t be happy to see Trump booted out: his brand of bigoted xenophobia was right up their alley.
