Cases are skyrocketing — but not yet deaths. It is possible that, thanks to the vaccine, this is a significantly milder form of the disease. Let’s see what happens, but we may end up with a version that is more in line with the “cold” varieties of coronavirus — a nuisance but not dangerous, as long as you are vaccinated.

Seeing reports that the delta variant is making unvaccinated people sicker than previous versions of the virus. It’s just that with so many vaccinated it’s not as deadly overall.
