If Mitt Romney and his team had actually run a campaign of ideas, Ryan might have been of some use. Instead, Mitt has barely articulated what he stands for and there’s just over a month left in the campaign. He’s never taken a specific position on anything except to say that he’s not Barack Obama.

No wonder Paul Ryan has pretty much given up and gone back to campaigning for his House seat. I wouldn’t bother with a presidential campaign as bad as Romney’s either, even if I was on the ticket.

Yeah they pick him for the Ryan Plan and then they try to say “Well we don’t always agree.” No shit, sherlock, but without the Ryan Plan, Paul Ryan is another fish in the fish bowl that is the US House of Representatives with shit little to say his name. I bet Ryan’s pissed at them for choosing him and then running away from his ideas. And honestly, even though I find Ryan and his ideas repugnant, I wouldn’t blame him. You don’t choose someone for ideological reasons and then do what they’ve done.
