I understand the explanation why, but it still seems extreme to me.
OTOH, TriPawed has the same leg birth defected, although he still has most of his leg. Funny watching TriPawed run…he roll-runs like a tiny bear.

I always kind of cringe when I read about some cute little fur ball going off to a “forever home.” This doesn’t help.
