Trump is calling for the grounding, not the FAA.

Every other time there’s an issue with planes requiring grounding or airworthiness directives, it comes from the FAA first. Trump continues to do damage to functioning government and sabotaging the FAA is only the latest area where the damage will take years to fix.

He’s doing lasting damage.
