Speaking of the recall. Dems out here really should rally around one of the alternatives on the ballot, just in case.

Even in a low turn out election, let’s say it’s 50.3-49.7 to recall… the nightmare scenario is that someone like Larry Elder wins the replacement election with like 30% but there’s significantly fewer votes for a replacement than on the recall question. Like that 49.7% that votes no could all vote for a Dem and that person would replace Newsom (which would make me laugh and laugh and laugh)
