Hi troll, there was no shock jocks back in time until the modern era in the 80s and the shock jock meme took hold when morning talk shows and afternoon drive time radio programs had their shock jocks attack the French who refused to allow Reagan’s air raid to punish Qaddafi fly over their airspace. That is my assertion where the SPECIFIC meme took hold in America that the French are military losers - something not found in pop culture as a meme before then.

Americans may have always had problems with the French but their military prowess was not a factor in their insults before the Reagan era invention of them as surrenderers.

And Lance Armstrong had is medals stripped and he surrendered without a fight. He pleaded nolo contendere, maybe the French surrender habit rubbed off on him.
