Evening Lizard Nation. I have been away too long for the last thread, but I wanted to ask this question: WHY (other than the obvious) didn’t they send the open letter to the President (bcc: FOX News, Limbaugh, etc.)?

They would have gotten the same amount of coverage and wouldn’t have violated the “politics stops at the shores” principle (not that they give a shit about that).

Because that would do less damage. It all makes perfect sense when the GOP is viewed as a nihilistic death cult that will do as much damage as possible if it is not allowed to rule.
