$51,300 a year works out to about $24.66 an hour. If you’re in a state with minimum wage in the $11-12 range, that’s probably about right for an entry level job with a college degree. (Also, keep in mind that a lot of recent graduates are going to have work experience as well)

Around here you’re doing good to find a buck over minimum with a college degree. IF I get the night manager’s job, I might move up to $20 an hour and that would be one of the highest paying jobs in the area.
