I think the more important corollary to Kristol’s question is really “how far has Nunes gotten with these “defamation” suits?” So far, as best I can tell, Congressman Cowpoke’s Big Legal Strategery has been to make loudmouthed “threats” of litigation on Twitter, let various social/mainstream media outlets pick them up and amplify them, , and then file some papers with a court in (? VA ?) . All which doesn’t seem (to my non-lawyer eye, anyway) to be eating up an awful lot of billable hours: but succeeding in generating publicity. Most of it mockery, true, but still publicity.

Anyway, Nunes is a Republican: finding money never seems to be an issue for them…..
