You’re right, and it’s what they’ll be saying right up to Election Day. And as painful as this is to hear, it’s going to ring true with a lot of moderate and conservative Dems.

I’m in Kentucky. Conservative Democrats are just Republicans who never got around to changing their registration. They’ve been voting for Mitch McConnell for decades. Moderates will be kept in the fold by enthusiastic embrace of Sanders by the party, if they know what’s good for them.
