Grew up in a Los Angeles suburb.

I put my groceries in a bag, my carbonated sugar drink is a soda, and the sandwich on a long roll is a hoagie.

I’m with ya on Bag. We had pop, but somewhere along the way I started calling it Soda-pop. Maybe because WI & other close states used soda? And my sammich was a sub.
