Yeah, that’s a real concern too. After all, these are young men, athletes, in prime physical condition - and COVID-19 is causing myocarditis in them, WTF is gonna happen to people who can’t even be remotely described as young athletes in prime physical condition?

I can tell you what happens…one of my friends had coronavirus early on (her carrier was a nurse who picked it up in Hong Kong and brought it to California). She had serious gut issues but it wasn’t until later that these were recognized as symptoms of COVID-19.

So here we are in August, almost six months since she got sick and she has tachycardia, BAD. Her heart starts racing when she stands up from a seated position. She’s been in for initial scans but the cardiologists can’t tell if it’s pericarditis or myocarditis. So more testing is called for. And of course there are the insurance issues, which are not helping. But yeah, heart trouble.
