This night is very special to my wife. While my wife is gawjus now, in high school was actually, well, not pretty… and was a terrified, wall-flower type. She didn’t really begin to blossom until after high school.

Daughter is everything she was not (at that age), and more; Mom feels, well, successful tonight. I’m proud of them.

Mom is living a little bit vicariously through the girl, but, her youth was so miserable, I am letting her enjoy the moment.
