I’m hoping that with the Republicans having wrecked themselves demographically, we can drive this country hard to the left.

Though, me being a Social Democrat, that point of the left is farther out than most here.

Any progress we make along these lines will be very slow. The Democrats here would be viewed as a center-right party in most of the rest of the world.
