Yeah, the place I call “fish country” is my ancestral homeland, a small slice of what is termed the “Bible belt” in the southern reaches of Midwest America. Anything other than evangelical Christianity is generally frowned upon in these parts. Even the Catholic Church gets a bit of a bad rap down thisaway. Myself, I decided to keep the Christianity part and ditch the rabid intolerance and mild racism/sexism.
