I suspect this college pulls in students from the countries where Evangelical missionaries have made in-roads, like South Korea and several African nations. Many of this kids are already used to obeying their elders, and would not be likely to question being used as cheap labor, even if they were aware of the laws preventing it.

Taking advantage of the most vulnerable. I hope he gets jail time, with required labor.
