The movies I’m going to watch to pay tribute:
Smokey and the Bandit (of course)
The Longest Yard (his original, not that godawful Adam Sandler remake)
Deliverance (of course)
Hooper (it’s a love letter to 70s movie stunts and stuntpeople from Reynolds and Hal Needham; with James Best, Sally Field, Brian Keith, Robert Klein, Alfie Wise, and Adam West, it’s a hoot)

Wasn’t Hooper the one one with the rocket car stunt and if he screwed it up he would paralyzed because of a bad back?
