The only way you can get pregnant from swimming in a hotel pool is if you’re having sex in that pool.

People have mentioned the chemicals in the pool, but another issue is temperature. Sperm can stay viable inside the vagina for (i think) up to 3 days,(yikes!), but sperm rapidly degrades if not ‘stored’ at the right temperature.
