Trump and his allies don’t see them as people with rights or deserving of respect. This man. He raised a daughter who is attending one of the most prestigious universities in this country. People say undocumented immigrants are criminals. Do these people want every civil violation they’ve done to haunt them forever? I’ll admit here guys. I’ve underaged drank. I’ve smoked marijuana. I’ve jaywalked. I don’t think anyone in their right mind thinks I should be punished retroactively for that. This man has been here a long time. Let him stay.
