This is how fast the backslide has come. We have far more Nazis and Nazi-curious people in this country that even the most pessimistic of us realized.

to repeat my ongoing talking point: when did fascism and white supremacism go from being something totally anathema to American values, something we fought wars against, to becoming just another point on the political spectrum and a point of view we are supposed to tolerate in the name of inclusiveness?
