Especially when you were wrong about that one obscure nuance.

I start to write something, get so far in and then just back out of it. I am pretty much incoherently angry about just about everything that is going on in Trump’s America. It’s impossible to find where to start to express myself and where to end since the bullshit from Trump and his party has covered just about everything. All I know is that the Republican party is dead to me and my family and I am letting everyone I know hear exactly that. I’m not even arguing with anyone about it, nor do I want to discuss it. All I say is that if I have to explain it to them then I’m not going to waste my time trying to convince people who are looking for reasons to not be convinced.

I haven’t lost a friend over this but a friend of my wife has told her that my talking about politics made her uncomfortable. My wife told her that it’s our house and we talk politics all of the time here so that’s just the way it is. When my wife told me about this I told her that since her friend voted for Trump (because her husband wanted her to, as she had told my wife), she would do well to take the wise words of some fellow Trump supporters she voted with to heart:
