Just finished watching last night’s Colbert, Tweety was the guest.

He thinks Trump’s support is much higher than indicated in the polls, because “people don’t like to admit they back him. They’re embarrassed about it. But they’ll vote for him anyway.”

Trump’s polling slightly lower than his win, when he was relatively unknown, and hadn’t yet screwed a large number of people over. I think the numbers are about exactly where they actually are. There aren’t many ashamed to be Trump but still supporting him people. They’re either proud racists, or unaffected by his stances and don’t give a care what he does as long as it doesn’t affect them (I work mainly with the latter group).
