I long for the day when presidents do not have religious advisors.

It’s funny but the most devout President I can think of, Jimmy Carter didn’t have a religious adviser. Carter was sincere in his faith. I may not agree with how he sees those philosophical questions we all ask but he correctly realized his answer was not everyone’s. And he wasn’t pandering to those who thought theirs was the only one like this nut who is no great thinker.
