Gotta love that quoting Trump is now the fault of the quote. But, I get it. You watching your party turn to shit in real time and it’s hard to handle.

In fairness, I was also mystified as to why Schiff felt like he needed to paraphrase Trump’s transcript. Just read the damned thing. Keep the tone serious. The paraphrase wasn’t meant to be funny, but it smelled a bit of typical congressional grandstanding. And Schiff is way too good at examination to have to resort to that sort of thing.
