Only partially. Texas tried to build a rail from Dallas to Houston and people were not going to cough up their money, their land, or their cars.

That’s been the issue here in California as well. I kind of laugh when I see things like an article on HuffPo a couple weeks ago about how Democrats need to start talking about cars and how we need to move away from them. My first thought was, “oh, so you want to put California in play again?”
