The thing I keep coming back to is, “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.” We have too many people who want their stupid purity ponies, and it’s like, that’s great, but that’s not how our government works even when it IS working. Let’s get as much as we can, then come back with a bigger majority and get more.

Any number would probably be too many, but everything I’ve seen (and I live in purity pony land) suggests that the PP people are very few, and very loud.
