some twitter rando was preening about the island of Ni’ihau, a voting precinct of Kaua’i, voting 100% Trump. Sounded weird to say the least. So I looked it up: it appears correct. 100% of the mail in ballots (43) were for Trump. 0 for Biden/Harris.

My weekend is booked. After I make some fresh chili powder of course.

Maybe that is legitimate. Or maybe it’s another example of Republicans playing games with the system. I will never forget Trump urging his supporters to vote twice in 2020 because mail in votes were “insecure”. We have several examples of Republicans using mail-in votes on behalf of deceased family members. In 2018, there was a scandal in North Carolina where McCrae Dowless illegally collected absentee ballots in the 9th Congressional District election in 2018, forcing North Carolina officials to throw out the results of the election and order a new one.
