I’m scared to pieces of what would happen with a constitutional convention, considering the gerrymandering and voter suppression we have going on.

As I recall, the GOP is within a few dozen state legislature seats of having full control of enough state legislatures to call a constitutional convention independently of Congress (i.e., 2/3). Fortunately, anything that would come out of that shit show would still need to pass in 3/4 of the state legislatures to take effect.
