re: #153 HappyWarrior
I remember taking philosophy class as a junior in high school and it was so funny to see the people who had taken conservative positions on bio-ethical issues like choice, physician aided suicide, the death penalty, etc love Ayn Rand’s message.
I had a room mate at Indiana University who was big into Ayn Rand, it was the first time I was really exposed to her philosophy and I decided that if human beings were all hatched out a fully formed adults without defects or disorders who could be fitted with a basic education chip and then sent out to realize our potential as individuals, then her philosophy would be the ideal approach.
