I’m beginning to think the only Dems genuinely opposed to her are extreme Blue Dogs in heavily GOPer districts (e.g. Abigail Spanberger, who won the seat that used to be Eric Cantor’s, and Tim Ryan, who represents a white rural or small-town Ohio district).

And given what a large majority the House Dems currently have, Pelosi might even be okay with them casing a symbolic vote against her in order to play to their voters back home.

Well Seth Moulton is an exception to that but I do think that’s the case. Abigail’s district isn’t as red as it was in the years Cantor held it though. I believe Clinton actually won it and OA will point this out but Ryan’s district really isn’t rural. It’s like Conor Lamb’s.
