Speaking of Czech…

A friend was telling me that the Czech (but not apparently Slovak) equivalent to the English colloquialism “It’s raining cats and dogs” was “It’s raining tractors”?

I don’t think I’ve ever heard that colloquialism, at least not in my region of Czech Republic.
