The reality is that Rudy never should have been in a courtroom because he hasn’t done any court practice since 1992 and it shows. That he didn’t know standards of review is far more egregious than his inability to comprehend what opacity means.

The reality is that Trump wanted Rudy there because Rudy tells Trump what he wants to hear, and Rudy put on a performance and told the court what Trump wanted to hear.

The papers submitted in connection with this are entirely unrelated to the false narrative Rudy’s spewed, and it goes to their inability to convince a court anywhere that there was any wrongdoing, let alone massive fraud.
