Well, as someone who also has Canadian citizenship, I agree with you that by comparison, America is a pretty tough country in many ways. I was just pointing out that where I live, I’m relatively okay. It’s in no way comparable to Somalia.

Eh, I’m across the river from Philly in a “safe” town. Philly has really gotten nuts over the last year. Like, literal innocent bystanders getting murdered for no reason nuts.

As for my area: we went to see the Doc Strange movie a few weeks back. Including the two of us, there was a group of four kids in front of us and a single dude in our row.

Single dude starts acting erratic a few minutes into the movie: muttering to himself, leaving multiple times during the movie. Eventually he doesn’t come back.

I warned my parter and kept my eye on the back of the theater for the rest of the movie. Literally I’m thinking, “Are we going to be two more bodies for the Second Amendment before this film ends?”

America may not be Somalia, but I would strongly urge non-Americans to avoid us at all costs for the while.
