I don’t think McDonald’s did anything wrong there. The protestors damaged its restaurant and it helped police identify them. If it was a legitimate political protest, they would have left the McDonald’s alone. Once protestors turn to property destruction (especially that of American companies) they lose all sympathy in my eyes and become punk kids in need of a beatdown.

They didn’t even do that. The accusation is McDonalds told the police how much damage was done to their property.
