According to wingnuts, if you desecrate a US flag you’re a proggy.

But they seem to love the Stars and Bars: the battle flag of the Confederacy that engaged in war against the US.

Wingnuts have no use for reality. More specifically:

They have no use for historical reality, e.g., civil war revisionism.

They have no use for economic reality, e.g., trickle-down economics.

They have no use for scientific reality, e.g., creationism, climate change denial.

They have no use for foreign policy reality, e.g., all war all the time.

They have no use for political reality, e.g., unskewing the polls in 2012.

Despite all this, wingnuts control both houses of congress and will be competitive in the 2016 POTUS race.
