Remember the House Dem sit-in last year? When they declared that they would sit on the floor of the House until Ryan agreed to let gun control measures come to a vote? It didn’t succeed because the House Reps just turned off the cameras and went home, waiting out the Dems before pushing forward as if nothing had happened. The GOP even got a boost by declaring that it was a violation of “regular order.”

So when one of our biggest talking points about this tax bill is the violation of “regular order,” how would barring the doors and refusing to allow a vote help that?
