Absolutely terrifying. Too many people out there reveal hatred and prejudice if they think you are not a member or a supporter of an oppressed group. Too many in the South still have the same attitudes as prior generations; and too many Northern whites share this view. There is something very wrong with this country; Obama had given me real hope that Trump snatched away. However, perhaps the 2018 midterms will produce a pleasant outcome that will allow us to begin the recovery from this nightmare.
