OTOH In a real wave election, ads don’t matter, individual candidates often don’t matter; it’s the anger of the voter that will toss members of one party out, regardless of their qualifications or the challenger’s lack there of.

I think Heller is toast. Nevada has been trending blue and the governor’s race there is looking like a coin flip.

This honestly feels more like a “we’re fucked, so let’s get as many confirmations through as we can before they take the gavel.”
