I think I remember you telling me about that when talking about how Vietnam ended up, against all odds, defeating China, a much bigger, better equipped, less war-torn country.

Less war torn but 1) eaten up by the Cultural Revolution BS and 2) No combat experience since Korea. Plus a millennium of hate & distrust of China by those living where we call Vietnam.
