Out of interest, do you make statements like this out of a belief that Scott Walker actually believes sane and rational things, but his hand is forced because he must avoid alienating an increasingly insane voting base? And, ergo, he doesn’t really want to enact the grotesque policies he has as Governor, but he must to placate that same base and/or his donors?

Or do you say it to try to explain that his weasel words and anti-American policies are actually rational acts?

Because neither situation qualifies him for any sort of office at all.

You left out the big question: Do you think Walker is fit for higher office?
