This is one of those things that really bugged me about the Clinton campaign in 2016. She was very well qualified, but the “most qualified”? She was a Senator and Secretary of State. But GHW Bush served in the House, he was head of the CIA, he was an ambassador to China and to the UN, and a modern VP. Nixon served in the House, the Senate, and was the first modern VP. Gore was a Senator and a modern VP. All of those were just as, if not more, qualified for the job as Clinton was when she ran.

Hyperbole perhaps but remember she was perhaps the most active FL ever too. It didn’t really bother me becaues any male candidate with the same qualifications would do the same and I think comparatively, she was the most qualified candidate ever compared with her opponent.
