Given the nature of the jobs to fulfill the mission, there probably shouldn’t be any E1-E5 in the Space Force anyway. If they need peon labor, just assign some AF newbies to a Space Force outfit.

In fact, the whole Space Force thing really should be a joint command anyway. Putting it under the Sec of the Air Force is just a way for the Pentagon to pad billets under that office.

Space Latrines need cleaning too. And painting Space Rocks requires some degree of creative talent.
