Don’t know how much money Ms. Weiner has made from normalizing fascism as spectacle, and whether she did at all. Haven’t been following her career.

I meant the times and media as a whole. So much effort went into analyzing style over substance, into treating the election as entertainment. Now real people are suffering because Trump is doing exactly what he promised and these same institutions have the nerve to act surprised by it all.
