To me, so many people have to think in absolutes these days. You can’t just be a center-left liberal like I imagine many of us would describe ourselves as here, no you have to be a socialist, you have to be a libertarian, you have to be fascist, etc. I freely admit that my ideology isn’t always 100% consistent in a logical sense but it is something I find feasible in a complex world.
