The groups I listed were, at least until recently, widely thought of as fringe crazies - your wingnut uncle who’d talk about crazy Bircher shit at Thanksgiving and everyone would just look at him and roll their eyes. Now he can find hundreds or thousands of people online who will tell him that not only is all that crazy shit he thinks TRUE, but that reality is EVEN WORSE!!!
