I switched back and forth from Edge and Chrome a few times trying to find one that wasn’t a memory leak farm or caused other problems.*

I gave up on Edge after the third time it decided to spontaneously reinstall and wipe my entire list of favorites. (MS solution to this is for you to save your favorites in IE and then reimport them. <.< )

* - My current annoyance is how my laptop (Win 10) doesn’t like recovering from hibernate mode. Tends to hang up somewhere in bringing Win 10 back up. I found it odd that it tended to have fewer issues if I closed my browser and Discord first - which makes me think it’s some sort of perverse resource lock or similar conflict.

It’s most likely a dodgy driver for some hardware that’s installed in the machine. If the drivers don’t properly control hardware state when hibernating or waking up, the OS will crash. This is generally true regardless of the OS; and to make it fun, hardware that works on one OS might not work properly on another.
